Forge has been engaged as Owner’s Project Manager for the renovation of several signature spaces in the historic Bixler Hall building. The project scope includes the removal of an existing dormer and roof on the building’s third floor, allowing the Printmaking program to significantly expand its footprint and capabilities. Also included is a full modernization of the building’s first floor, allowing what is a major campus throughway to look and feel appropriate as a close neighbor to Colby’s Museum of Art. With these renovations, we are also fully replacing the building’s HVAC system and providing upgrades to existing electrical, fire alarm, and data systems. Forge began work in early design and will continue through project closeout. The total project budget is $4 Million, and the spaces are expected to open in September 2025.
